In 1999, Doug moved back home after graduating college, opened up the newspaper, and circled the Trileaf hiring ad. It was appealing to him as it correlated with what he had studied in college and the office happened to be one exit down from where he was living at the time. It was his first job out of college and after 21 years of service, he is still at Trileaf and loves it. The field of work offers a good balance between conservation and progress, and great opportunity. He also enjoys being associated with the deployment of cutting edge technology that even 21 years later is positioned to yet again change the world as we know it today.
Doug is excited to come to work everyday and work with great people, watching them develop to become the next wave of experts in this field, and continuing to have the opportunity to see or work on something new every day, even after 21 years of service. The greatest challenge of his role is twofold: making sure they have enough work and managing personnel.
Doug grew up in Webster Groves, MO and now resides in Maitland, FL where he moved in 2005 to open an office for Trileaf. He and his wife, Zabrina, are passionate about their family, friends, and are living their best lives. They have a young daughter, Lila, and a cat, Franklin. In his freetime, Doug enjoys golfing, fishing, and doing yard work, as well as volunteering at his daughter’s school and being an active member of several work-related organizations.
Doug’s experience and loyalty to this company is a big part of why Trileaf is exceptional. He often tells potential customers, “If you are looking for an environmental, architectural and engineering firm with nationwide capabilities that can offer cost-effective solutions with no hidden fees, minimal subcontracting, unparalleled service, experience, and attention to detail with quick turnaround times, look no further than Trileaf.”
